BOTSWANA

Botswana is a unique tourist destination. It is relatively unexploited and unexplored offering majestic scenery and a profusion of wildlife. It is a peaceful and stable country with a friendly government and people welcoming the discerning tourist – yet it is determined to preserve its animals and environment so that they can be enjoyed by future generations. Botswana is also an archaeological treasure trove. Its history goes back to the Stone Age and beyond. The Tsodilo Hills in the northwest and Lepokole Hills in the extreme east, reveal a profusion of San (Bushmen) paintings dating back to the Stone Age and continuing until comparatively recent times.

Botswana is a vast country differing from any other in Africa. Its attractions range from the Okavango to the Kalahari and it gives the tourist to see unique, protected and exclusive ecologies.

ZAMBIA

The interior parks of Zambia are often referred to as the “Gem of Africa”. These vast areas are teeming with wildlife and visitors  often feel as if they have the whole country to themselves. Zambia pioneered the concept of walking safaris, a “heart thumping” way to observe larger animals close up and to appreciate the smaller denizens of the bush. Zambia takes its name from the Zambezi River which stretches from the Northwest corner of the country and also its Southern boundary. River rafting, bungee jumping and microlight flights are all offered at Victoria Falls, one of Zambia’s most impressive sights.
